13 years in and Big Brother is still going strong. And the housemates, the tasks and the diary room are all back for another summer of drama.

Over 300 housemates have walked through the doors of the BB house since it hit our screens back in 2000. But as well as the quirky housemates, the design of the house is always a talking point too.

From the blue hues of BB1 to the basic feel of BB3 and the clean and crisp feel of the house in 2010. Every year the designers work their magic to create a house that's sure to get noticed.

This year the opulent look mixed with recycled features and natural wood gives a vintage and retro feel that's inspiring. In the kitchen / diner, bike seats might not be the comfiest to enjoy breakfast and dinner at, but design wise they are genius.

Open plan living lets the housemates cook, socialise and relax in comfort. Get the look in your own home with our New York kitchen that combines an opened planned kitchen and living area.

The mismatched look of this year's BB kitchen might not appeal to all and it can be hard to achieve without looking harsh and a little over the top in your own kitchen. A pop of colour will however inject personality and passion and our design team will help create a kitchen suitable for any space and advise on colour that will increase space and compliment any design.

2013 Open Space

Space saving is key in most kitchens these days and whether you are residing in a loft apartment or four bed detached home, tucking away all those kitchen essentials so they can't be seen is vital. Old suitcases and filing cabinets acting as kitchen cupboards adorn the BB kitchen this year and, although it's a great use of space, we're not sure it will suit everyone's taste. Out Tampa collection featuring overhead storage space is perfect for storing all those non-essential kitchen items and the Linear Collection will leave your kitchen uncluttered and handle free.

Our personal favourite feature is the cream Aga, it might scream more country living than slick city design but style wise it's up there and would slot in perfectly to our Cotswold Collection, a quintessentially English looking design that is timeless.
