Betta Living continues UK expansion with new store in Cannock Fitted kitchen and bedroom specialist Betta Living has announced the opening of a new state-of-the art showroom in Cannock.
The new showroom, which opened this week, is one of the largest and most impressive in the group after a £400k investment by the company.
It will offer 5,000 sq ft of prime retail space, where customers will have the opportunity to browse around 30 displays of fitted kitchens and bedrooms and get specialist design advice from Betta Living's team of experienced design consultants.
Betta Living chose Cannock for its latest store because of the town's buoyant economy and growing community. It is conveniently located on the popular Orbital Retail Park, which is close to the motorway network.
Marketing Manager, Barry Rourke, said: "Cannock is a thriving area and we are very excited about becoming part of the community and participating in its continued development. We are also pleased to be creating a number of new jobs.
"Our expansion and investment instore refurbishment, which is taking place across the UK at a cost of around£700k, comes on the back of one of the most successful trading periods we have seen, with a year to date sales increase of 46%.
"We seem to be capitalising on customers who are investing more in their homes rather than moving house, undoubtedly a circumstance of the current economic situation. We offer homeowners the latest designer looks at the right price and quality, coupled with an inspiring shopping experience.
"We have designed the most modern and exciting retail spaces that showcase ourextensive range of kitchens, bedrooms and home offices and included some of ourinnovative products like our bespoke TV bed and pull down bed that can beincorporated into an office or bedroom design."
The company, which also opened new stores in Reading, Tamworth andNewcastle-upon-Tyne during the summer, is currently in negotiations to open its20th UK store later this year. The stores support Betta Living's retailpresence in some of the UK's largest shopping centres around the UK as well asa personal in-home consultation service.
The privately owned business, which dates back to 1966, currently employs 70people at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility based in Oldham,Lancashire. It boasts a team of 80 sales designers, 100 marketing staff and anetwork of over 80 fitting teams recognised throughout the UK as being 'the best in the business'.
